Living Dead Media invades Scarefest 2010

Living Dead Media managed to invade The Scarefest in Lexington KY and mingle with some of the latest and greatest in the horror universe. We even managed to score some interviews with actors John Amplas, Russ Streiner, John Russo, and George Kosana from the Romero universe. We met with Machete star Danny Trejo and even the man himself George A Romero.

Check out the pictures here.

Zombie Walk Invasion Harrodsburg KY 2010

Your friendly neighborhood ghoul Kommando was fortunate enough to attend the local zombie walk right here in my hometown. This is what is hoped to be the beginning of an annual thing for the zombie fans out there. Even I got in on the action with some head turning results. We managed to see a Hunter from Left 4 Dead, a Thriller homage, and they even showed Night of the Living Dead as a finisher. The event was for a great cause and the people who attended were absolutely awesome. The event was sponsored by the Arts Council of Mercer County and Scarefest in Lexington. Great job to everyone who attended the event.

The ghouls came out to play.

Here we have a hunter jumping in for the occasion. One of the coolest zombies at the event.

Good 'ol Kommando dead on his feet.

The family that slays together stays together.

Gorehounds come in all ages.

An extra helping of brains makes for a healthy and happy zombie.

Some of the local Studio G troupe stalking the streets.

Studio G breaking down Thriller for the masses.

Ghouls on parade.

Gimme some sugar baby.

Zombies Attack San Diego!

Our very own members Lostone and Evil Dead had the privilege of attending the San Diego Comic Con Zombie Walk in July 2010. There is another walk scheduled in October of 2010 and you can get more details from and it was for a great cause. Stay tuned for more breaking news.

Some of the victims never seen it coming......

Zombification takes only a matter of minutes sources say.

While others appear to have some signs of advanced decomposition.

Specialized groups were called in to handle the threat.

Here a reporter managed to catch a close up of one of the reported assailants.

This image was pulled from one of the bodies of the reporters along with his camera.

There have been reports of the creatures who seem to have adopted habits from their previous living counterparts.

Some people were in a state of shock when the outbreak first started.

The creatures have been reported to gather in heavily populated areas.

Scarefest 08

Here is a pic of me and Tom Towles who played Harry Cooper in Night of the Living Dead 1990, Sheriff Wydell in House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects. Super nice guy and very talented.

Here I am with the legendary Tom Savini who has been in several of George A Romero's projects including Land of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead.

Here I am with Michael Berryman of the Hills Have Eyes, Weird Science, Devils Rejects, and tons of great horror films. Highly intelligent and super nice to talk to.

Here we have the man behind the mask and the longest running Jason Vorhees Kane Hodder. Very intimidating guy but also one of the coolest. I have the privilege of meeting this horror icon twice.

Here is me, Della Morte, and Bill Moseley aka Chop Top and Otis Driftwood. He has a movie out called Dead Air that I highly recommend checking out.
