A Film Directed by Gary Ugarek

Director, Gary Ugarek who directed zombie films, "Deadlands: The Rising" and "Deadlands 2: Trapped" makes a change of pace in "All In The Game".  The film is a departure from Mr. Ugarek's usual fare and is a motion picture about gangsters in Baltimore.

Details about the film:

All In The Game is the new Gangster crime drama from writer/director Gary Ugarek and takes the audience on a journey within the inner city drug wars. The film focuses on Ontario Damon Banks (Nelson Irizarry) and his East Baltimore crew who not only grew up on the streets of East Baltimore, but have risen through the ranks of its drug trade.

The film follows Ontario’s desire and determination to control the entire trade, from supplier to distributor, and the bloody path he must make in order to claim the top spot as King. However, he does not take this struggle alone. Along for the ride are his two best friends, Littles (Kelvin Page) and Vince (Chris Clanton)

All In The Game is the 3rd feature film from Maryland based writer and director Gary Ugarek who started his independent film career with the 2006 zombie film, Deadlands: The Rising, and the 2008, follow up Deadlands 2: Trapped.

Gary, who is not shy to say he is obsessed with the zombie genre, also had another love in the realm of cinema, the gangster film. While the gangster film has been, and always will be, his second favorite genre, he had never thought about approaching the subject matter of gangsters, drug wars, mafia, and inner city gang violence.

In 2010, Ugarek was finishing his film festival tour for Deadlands 2: Trapped when he was approached by the folks behind Zombie Doomsday (2011) and asked if he would appear in the film. Reluctant to appear in front of the camera, he agreed. During his cameo appearance he met actors Nelson Irizarry and Kelvin Page. The duo were cast as armed robbers in the film and when action was called Gary found himself, very impressed with how genuine the two actors were in their performance. He set out to meet the two individuals and he promised they would work together.

About Funding:

Writer/Director Gary Ugarek is no stranger to the world of low budget productions. With the creative team behind the previous Deadlands zombie films, Ugarek and team were able to produce both films on extremely low budgets, combined both films cost just under $17,000.00 to make and complete (Deadlands 1: $10,800, Deadlands 2: $6,000.00)

Gary has enlisted the services of IndieGoGo.Com to help raise the production budget for All in the Game, which he projects will cost $7,500.00 USD. The primary use of the budget is mainly for production insurance, filming permits (for outdoor shoots in Baltimore City) and craft services.
