Well I had been seeing this on steam and figured this would be right up my alley. Zombies, muscle cars, sharp objects protruding from the car, explosions, not to mention tons of zombies oh hell yeah I love this game. Well the basic story is that you are a hobo mechanic ( is there any other kind? ) living in Large Hadron Collider (LHC). There were a series of events that turned the population into blood thirsty zombies. In the future smugglers, low lifes, murders, and all around nasty characters hide out there since the police will not step foot into the city. Your name is Clutch and for some strange reason you are drawn to the city and perform tasks in order to make money, save citizens, and kicks some zombie ass.

  • Graphics - 9

  • The graphics are very good and there is tons of detail in the game. The speed blur and a few things can stand some room for improvement but otherwise things look fantastic. The streets and buildings look run down and dirty, the zombies from what I can see speeding past them at 120 look fairly detailed.

  • Controls - 6

  • The controls take some getting used to and maybe it is me since I play most racing games on consoles. The mouse/keyboard takes a bit getting used to but it still feels a bit clunky at times.

  • Story - 8

  • Hey it really doesn't have an original story but man it has cool cars and zombies. With that combo it really doesn't matter if the main character is a cross dressing Barry Manilow loving cheeseburger eating sumo wrestler. But the story is your typical STALKER/Fallout style story. The world you live in has died long ago and you do what it takes to survive.

  • Sound - 10

  • Here is where the game shines. The sound track is FANTASTIC. But then again I am a sucker for Psychobilly and Rockabilly muzak. The engines have a nice roar to them blasting down the highway and the zombies moan just like zombies are known to do. There are some nasty sounds when you run them down or cut them with your cool retractable blades hidden away on your ride.

  • Gameplay - 9

  • There are tons of things to do in this game. Street racing, demolition derby, capture the flag, missions, garage mods, or simply go nuts and cut down zombies. It will keep you occupied for hours with all of the neat features it has to offer.

  • Overall - 9

  • This game isn't for everyone but for zombie lovers and racers, this is perfect. I am enjoying this game and feel like it was some of the best 10 dollars I have spent in a while for a game. Steam offers it for 9.99 in case anyone is thinking about picking it up and it is also available for the Xbox 360.
